Each year, at the National conference of CAHO, we invite nominations and applications from outstanding professionals who have pushed the bar of healthcare quality through personal initiative, and have made an impact in their organizations/region/state or country. The award committee received a significant number of applications and they scrutinised each applicant on the basis of their achievements and impact in the area of healthcare quality. The committee found Dr. Meenas record in healthcare quality deserves this singular recognition this year because of his efforts at the grass root level, making an impact across the entire state of Gujarat, esp in resource constrained public sector.
